Philipp Stöcklein works as a Visual Artist and Graphic Designer. His practices include film, photography and photo editing, silkscreen printing, sewing, creative coding, music production and more. He got his bachelor's degree in media design at Hof University in 2016 and finished his diploma studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg in 2021. 

As a jack of all trades, Philipp applies his versatile skillset in whichever way he deems most fitting for a project. He understands his artistic practice and art in general as a craft and therefore feels more at ease with his work in subcultural or so-called "low-brow" settings, e.g. clubs, concerts, off-spaces or private places, than in traditional art world environments like galleries or exhibitions. He wants his work to be accessible and able to be read, understood and interpreted by people from all walks of life. Since the process and tools used stay the same, he does not strictly distinguish between "free" and applied work – implementing websites, merchandise and books for fellow artists, musicians or cultural institutions as well.

Besides, since 2021 Philipp teaches different courses and holds workshops at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg, mostly with a focus on developing different workflows for digital art and design productions.
